Congratulations to Parkhouse Caledonia FC, proudly sponsored by Driver Trett Qatar, who won an unprecedented treble this week. The A team won the Premier Division title last Wednesday and on Friday clinched the double, winning the Alger Cup on penalties after the final vs MTM United finished goalless. The club’s B team also won the 3rd Division title, making it a season that is unlikely to be matched again.
Driver Trett Director and player/manager of the team, Ronan Kelly, said “it has been an unbelievable achievement for this group of players to win all the trophies that were on offer this season. It was a nerve wracking end to both the league and cup and to win the cup final on penalties shows the character of this team. I am immensely proud of every one of the players who faced top quality opposition this season against some teams with full time footballers. I want to say a huge thank you to Driver Trett for their support as getting sponsorship is not easy, and all the players and I are very grateful for the beautiful jerseys that we wore this season. We look forward to the continued relationship next season”.
The celebrations went on long into the night with even Gabi (Ex Atletico Madrid Captain) and Wesley Sneijder (Dutch World Cup Finalist) trying to get their hands on the trophy.
