The high tally of mega-projects in the State of Qatar has resulted in increasing numbers of substantive disruption claims. Those claims are extensive in terms of both their quantum and complexity. With that in mind, this webinar explores both the technical and legal bases of disruption claims including core elements which must exist if a party’s claim is to succeed.
Driver Trett and Charles Russell Speechlys are pleased to invite you to their webinar on disruption claims, which will take place on Thursday 16 July 2020 from 15:00 to 16:00 (Qatar time).
The webinar will include input from Paula Boast (Partner), Niel Coertse (Senior Associate) of Charles Russell Speechlys and Driver Trett’s senior specialist consultant Daniel Morris (Associate Director), with Stefan Panourgias (Qatar Country Manager) as moderator.
The full agenda is below:
• Introduction;
• The basis of the claims under Qatar Law and legal elements which a party must prove to succeed, by Niel Coertse and Paula Boast;
• Quantifying the claim by Daniel Morris;
• A brief word on global claims.
