On December 19th Ali Fard, the Director of Driver Trett Canada, will be delivering a presentation entitled “Before The Claim: Mid-Project Dispute Resolution for a (Potentially) Post-Adversarial World” at the Canadian Bar Association in Calgary.
The event is aimed at construction law practitioners, both external and in-house counsel, and his presentation will focus on mid-project dispute resolution: the use of third party neutrals/technical experts/project referees, on the non-legal side, who work with owners and contractors who are in a claim situation to resolve problems while the project is ongoing in order to prevent disputes from being escalated.
