We are seeking an experienced Delay Analyst to lead our growing Delay team in Kuwait.
Reporting directly to the Country Manager the role will give you the opportunity to work on some of the largest and most interesting claims on major construction, engineering, and oil projects in Kuwait and the GCC.
The appointed individual will be involved in the following:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of a commission including both internal and external stakeholders;
- Providing detailed claims reviews and analysis;
- Manage and mentor the delay team based in kuwait;
- Researching, analysing and drafting delay reports in contentious matters;
- Providing contractual advisory services;
- Providing claims submission and rebuttal letters and general contractual correspondence letters;
- Attending meetings with Clients as required;
- Be actively involved in the marketing of the business in Kuwait through client meetings, industry related functions and published articles;
- Providing support to Clients in presenting the Client’s position with respect to claims to third parties as required;
- Drafting high quality contractual narratives.
In order to be considered for the role the candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject such as Civil Engineering;
- Membership of a relevant construction professional body;
- Completed or commenced a MSC in Construction Law and Arbitration or other construction legal qualification;
- 10+ years' experience in a consultancy with previous experience drafting claims.
