Civil engineering, building and oil and gas industries are continually plagued by delays. Employers, Contractors and Subcontractors all have their opinions as to the best approach to assessing and determining their entitlement and/or culpability. However, this can sometimes lead them down a confusing and costly path with little to show for it. The industry is full of methodologies such as Collapsed As-Built, Impacted As-Planned and so on. After a while choosing and understanding the right approach can be confusing”!
Christian will attempt to explain and make sense of the various approaches to delay analysis and explain how the various differences in various situations will call for the different approaches in carrying out the right delay analysis.
