Driver Trett and Diales unite. 

On 1 July 2024 Driver Trett and Diales consolidated under the Diales brand, unifying our extensive expertise in both Expert and Advisory Services. This consolidation will allow us to continue to better serve our clients by combining our strengths and resources, and to seamlessly deliver comprehensive solutions across the engineering and construction industries worldwide.

2024

We opened an office in Leeds, UK. 

On 1 May 2024 we were delighted to open an office in Leeds, strengthening our position in the North of England.

We opened an office in Dublin, Ireland.

On the 1st of February 2024 we opened our first office in Ireland.

2023

We opened an office in Seoul, South Korea.

On Thursday 30th March 2023, we held the official launch party of our new Korean office.

Shaun Smith became the new Non-Executive Chairman

Shaun commenced with the Driver Group in March 2023.

Charlotte Parsons joined as the Chief Financial Officer

In July 2022, Charlotte joined the group as the global CFO.

Diales celebrated 10 years in business

Having been established in the UK in 2012, the group's expert witness service offering now has a global footprint.

New offices opened in New York and Madrid

We closed a busy year with the opening of these two new offices, strategically placing us to support the Spanish speaking market.

Mark Wheeler was appointed as Chief Executive Officer

In June 2020 Mark was appointed as CEO to the global group.

We launched a strategic partnership with EVRA Consulting (Pty) Ltd

To support our clients across the African continent, we established this partnership with EVRA; Africa’s leading claims and dispute resolution consultancy. EVRA's offering includes agile project management services to the financial, insurance, pharmaceutical, information technology and telecoms sectors, complimenting the skills of our consultants and experts.

We opened offices in Kuwait and Paris

2014

We opened an office in Sydney

This was our third office in Australia, and in the UK we closed the year with the acquisition of Initiate Consulting Ltd; strengthening our project management support service offering.

2014

We launched in Canada

Through a joint venture with MHPM, we brought our expert services and claims and disputes services to the Canadian market, in spring 2014.

Later in the year, we joined forces once again with MHPM to support our clients in the Middle East’s growing project management arena.

2013

New offices opened in Australia, Germany, and Hong Kong

Diales established a presence in Asia Pacific.

2012

We launched Diales

In June of 2012, we launched the Group’s expert witness support service offering, providing highly experienced experts to support the legal profession in arbitration, litigation and alternative dispute resolution.

Driver Group acquired Trett Consulting

This acquisition launched the Driver Trett brand, providing commercial, contract, dispute resolution, and planning and programming services - now across Europe, Asia Pacific, and the Americas.

2010

We opened an office in Qatar

We opened an office in Oman

We also acquired CMC (which later re-branded as Driver Project Services in 2010), adding customer focused project controls solutions to the Group’s high level commercial, planning, and claims support service offering.

2006

We launched in the Middle East

Our first non-UK office opened in the UAE.

2005

Driver Group PLC became a public listing

BWS International demerged to allow Driver Consult to focus on its core business of providing the construction and engineering industries with commercial, programming, and dispute resolution services.

2003

BWS Consulting Ltd became Driver Consult Ltd.

Peter George’s business (seconding contract, time, and cost staff into the offshore oil and gas industries) continued, for a short period, as BWS International.

1990

Steve Driver joined BWSICC from Mowlem

Steve Driver joined BWSICC from Mowlem and set up an office in Rossendale, Lancashire, which would later become the practice’s head office.

1986

BWSICC merged with the partnership Davison George

Peter Davison and Peter George brought extensive experience in the heavy engineering sector of the construction industry, with particular emphasis
on offshore oil and gas projects, petrochemical plants, and pipelines. Their services included contract, time, and cost.

1978

The company was established

Initially trading as BWS International Construction Consultants, a re-organisation in 2001 saw the creation of the Driver Group.
