Christopher is a construction professional with more than 20 years of industry experience. He provides independent advice to clients on complex delay and disruption matters and has been appointed as a planning and delay Expert on many occasions.
Christopher worked for more than a decade in various planning roles, for major UK and international civil engineering contractors, before moving full time into consulting to focus on delay analysis. He has extensive experience across the building, energy, infrastructure, industrial, and oil and gas sectors including significant involvement with rail projects.
He has specialised in the planning, co-ordination and management of multi-disciplinary construction projects using critical path and float path analysis, amongst other techniques, to monitor and report progress and performance against the project baseline. He is highly proficient in a range of software packages including Power Project, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 and various graphic presentation tools.
Christopher has been appointed as both the named expert and lead assistant in matters of delay and disruption, he has testified in Arbitration, including giving concurrent evidence (hot tubbing), and has advised clients in contentious and non-contentious issues in Litigation, Arbitration, Adjudication, and alternative dispute resolution.
Christopher holds a Master’s in Construction Law and a degree in Construction Management. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and has undertaken various Expert witness training courses.
