Vincent has over 35 years’ combined quantity surveying and engineering experience within the construction industry. He initially trained as a mechanical and electrical engineer with a firm of specialist consultants, and later joined consultants and contractors working on the whole project life cycle from inception to completion and then handover and operation.
Vincent is a specialist in complex mechanical and electrical quantum matters, having been appointed an expert witness in both quantum and technical mechanical and electrical disputes. He has given quantum opinion on operational cost and loss of revenue in energy generation disputes.
Combining the skills of an engineer with that of a quantity surveyor, he has been a Fellow of the RICS since 2014 and maintains membership of the Institute of Engineers as an incorporated engineer. He recently became a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators having an MSc in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution from King’s College, London.
Vincent has been appointed as quantum and technical expert in high court litigation and international arbitration on professional negligence and claims matters. He has been cross-examined by counsel in domestic arbitration, and has been tested on expert opinion in Chambers pre-trial on numerous occasions with the matter to later settle before trial.
