Biography

Alistair is a professionally qualified quantity surveyor with over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry.

He trained with private sector quantity surveying practices where he was responsible for undertaking all aspects of pre and post contract quantity surveying duties. Following his move into consultancy Alistair now regularly provides commercial support to both contractors and sub-contractors including the assessment of variations, final accounts, delay and disruption. He has a thorough understanding of the main types of delay analysis techniques commonly used and applies this knowledge when undertaking the assessment of loss and/or expense submissions.

Alistair also acts as quantum expert in most dispute resolution forums.
