Darren Bernardo

Biography

Darren Bernardo is experienced in dispute resolution in large scale construction contracts. He has handled construction disputes in the power projects sector including coal, gas, oil, hydro and geothermal plants as well as numerous other infrastructure construction projects.

The majority of Darren’s experience has been onsite in the Middle East and Asia Pacific region. He is familiar with onsite construction practices and the importance of utilizing the related documentation for claim substantiation.

Darren has experience in claims preparation in excess of 1 billion USD and played a leading role in project litigation, including arbitration proceedings in Asia and Europe. Recently, Darren testified as the quantum expert witness on a geothermal arbitration in Turkey.
