Biography

Mustafa has more than 18 years industry experience working for major clients, contractors and consulting organisations in the Middle East, Europe and Asia.

During this time, Mustafa has undertaken various commercial, contractual and claims management roles and held senior positions in the organisations he has worked for. He has extensive experience in drafting contractual letters and delay notifications, production and defence of prolongation and disruption claims, together with a thorough understanding of forensic planning and delay analysis.

Mustafa has been involved in carrying out review and analysis of extension of time and cost claims and assessment of potential liability for projects up to $15 billion in value, with sector experience spanning oil and gas, energy, roads and bridges, infrastructure and marine works, airports and healthcare.

Mustafa holds a BSc in Civil Engineering and MSc in Construction Law and Arbitration. He is a RICS Registered Expert Witness and holds professional memberships with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Mustafa is responsible for the Diales Qatar office.
